Sadie Maldonado is originally from Harlingen, Texas. She is currently studying Theater Design and Production with a specialization for Lighting Design at the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music (CCM). Sadie is a state recognized designer, being a two-time Joci Awards Production Assistant and Majestic Empire Foundation Scholarship Recipient in San Antonio, a three-time Palm Award nominee and winner for best lighting execution in the Rio Grande Valley, and a three-time State Champion for Texas UIL One Act Play. Sadie has also worked in numerous jobs, such as audio and mics, stage crew, projections and video, stage management, and concerts, being a guest operator for Metallica’s M72 World Tour in Houston, Texas. She plans on graduating with a BFA in her degree and continue to grow into a passionate designer and artist.
